THE LATEST:
Two of my paintings were accepted for the Articulture show and sale in St. Albert Place happening April 7-10 The reception Thurs. evening was exciting. The people who set things up did a fantastic job of hanging and arranging the art pieces! The show is in conjunction with the Lt. Governor Awards taking place in St. Albert. The Art Walk is running a month early as well! Visit all the galleries!
The St. Albert Painters Guild are having their spring sale April 15-17 at St. Albert Place, 5 St. Anne St., St. Albert.
Friday 9-9, reception 7-9. Sat. 9-5. Sun.9-4. I hope to see you there!
CURRENT EVENTS:
I have had some of my paintings printed onto cards. I have also had some of my fantasy paintings printed as posters.
COMMENTS AND NEWS:
Three of my nieces posed for me a couple of years ago. I have done a number of fairy paintings from that session. One of the girls, Brandi, asked for a painting with all three girls in it. You can see her commissioned piece above.
I was also inspired to write a short story about the photo session, which is part of an anthology recently published. "Finding Your Inner Fairy" is in "How I Shot My Brother and Other Stories", published by Prairie Dog Publishing.
I have a new story published in another anthology called "Christmas Chaos". The story is titled "He Came One Night". All the stories are based on actual incidents. Copies can be found at local book stores and I will have some copies available (19.99) if anyone would like to order one.
